The building is old (though in Rome that means much older structures exist), and the elevator might be unnerving for anyone with vertigo. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds; furniture is dated but clean. Breakfast is generous and continuously replenished — nothing flashy but ample by local standards. The location is very close to Termini, so walking was our main mode of transport, and we had easy access to shuttles and trains to Florence. It feels like one of the better options in the area. I'd stay again, though it wasn't the best hotel I experienced in Rome.”
